Netop Guest connecting to Netop Host running on Linux via NSS - "NSS service not available"

When connecting from the Netop Guest to the Netop Host running on Linux via the Netop Security Server, the following message is displayed: “NSS service not available”.

Workaround:

  1. On the Netop Host running on Linux, open the Netop Host Manager (from Tools > Options, enter the account for changing the Host configuration and click OK).
  2. Go to Local Configuration > Host Computer > Addresslists branch and add the Netop Security Server IP.
  3. Go to Local Configuration > Host Computer > Communication branch > UDP and create a new entry in the broadcastlist adding the addresslist that contains the NSS IP.

NOTE: To ensure that changes have been applied, restart Netop Host after the setup changes.
